Buttercup is sick.

buttercup has been pretty sickly the last couple of days. right now i have her pumped up with so many medications that she sleeps for most of the day. it hurts me to see her so depressed like this, i wish i could do more. there is another thunderstorm coming tonight, i hope this one doesn't disappoint like the last one.

ehh..

the test sucked. i'll probably know the offical grade tomorrow. hopefully i didnt do so bad. sigh. im tired and sleepy but i want to stay up and watch the thunderstorm.

in a related subject... i was doing the wash the other day and i got some laundary detergent in my eye. ouch. it hurts and its looking a little swollen. i rinsed with water and put some visine (sp?), maybe that will clear it. eh, i guess its not so related, huh.

my test... well at least my accounting test is tonight. i have been studying like mad-crazy the last couple of days. sigh. even overcoming exciing invitations. after tonight i can relax just a little bit but no too much. on wednesday morning i go back to looking for another job. there are some good things happening in my life... nothing incredibly significant but good things nonetheless. i havent posted any new pictures in a couple of days now because my camera is out of batteries. :( i should be back in business by tomorrow. well. back to studying!

new scenes

Aside from the moments where I get the opportunity to get out of the house for a little bit, I'm mostly going stir crazy at home. Friday I decided to take my work to the public library and then I stopped by the university to see a professor. Nothing really exciting happened. At the library I learned I had a fee of .60 cents that I hadn't paid since 2003. I thought that was interesting. also there was a chase for a criminal that went right threw the library and back out, I guess that was strange too.

easter eve

on easter eve a bunch of my friends thought it would be fun to spend the night at the beach. i thought it was an awesome idea but a bit to late to start planning, considering it was already 11pm. well, whatever, we went anyways with a quick collection of blankets, pillows, beer, food and drinks. we brought a tent but when we got there we noticed that the wind was much stronger than what we thought it was gonna be. we built it anyways even though it looked like it was gonna fly away any minute. we had a hard time trying to light the fire because of the wind as well, after i made a couple of design changes hehe.. i got it going. we actually got to the beach around 1am and we hung out for quite a bit. it wasnt until about 5:30am that we started to fall asleep. it was freakin cold out there so i went to sleep in the car. we ended up waking up around 7am because michelle needed to pee and didnt wanna do it by the dune anymore (daylight). we rushed to the public restrooms then came back to pick up a couple of things and say bye to everyone else. we picked up some breakfast and got home around 9am. with one hour of sleep to my belt i ended up sleeping most of easter day. *sigh* and that was my easter.

what is mine, is mine.

My car is officially, MY car. I had finished paying it off a couple of days ago and today I received the ownership papers for it. It’s a big payment off my back and the satisfaction of paying the loan feels awesome. As soon as I could find a better job I will buy another one. My car and I have been through so much and it has always been there, as reliable as it possibly can. I don’t think I can part with it for a crummy car salesman’s deal. I’m loyal.

release

on friday afternoon we decided that going fishing would be pretty neat. well, that quickly changed to fishing at the beach would be pretty neat. that changed to hanging out at the beach would be pretty neat. so we went to the island... and the island was packed with mexican spring breakers. we got some beer, music and a couple of orders of mcdonalds and headed to beach access #6. oh i want to live out there so bad.

my obstacles

My life has been un-ordinarily less than smooth, perhaps bordering at quite chaotic, for awhile now. I really don’t know how else to describe it other than a streak of misfortune. That’s alright, i'll be okay… like marisela was preaching to me the other day, I’m being faced with obstacles, the challenge is to get through them without losing myself and my faith. Anyway, all Is not bad, I have been enjoying the company of many friends who all enjoy living life to the fullest. i'm as happy as can be expected, just a little beat up.
