Corpus Christi, Texas

Miriam and I just returned from a small get away trip to Corpus Christi, Texas. Needless to say, I will now bore you all with my pictures of the USS Lexington. hehe.

Now, Seriously. We got the best view at the Radission. A view of the City's skyline, the beach, the ocean, the USS Lexington was practically parked in our room.

More pictures to follow.

Evacuting a Metropolis

So, last month we saw Hurricane Rita come racing to the Texas coastline in the same fashion that Katrina laid ruin to New Orleans. By direction from many local leaders in the Houston area, they were asked to evacute their homes.

The end result was hours and hours of traffic jams across the Houston Metropolis. People's cars were breaking down on the road and gasoline supplies in all stores were exhausted. Officials changed the flow of Highways and Interstates to only one way... Out of the City.
