Soccer Game at 7pm

Deep inside the beaten path, hugging the city's outskirts, well on your way to visit the Playa de la Boca Chica... And just a couple of cornfields down you'll find the spot where many local children, ages toddler to teen, spend their late summer afternoon playing soccer.

The fee is only one dollar and a mom and little daughter combo charge you at the entrance. You pretty much make your own parking... there are some seats available on some of the fields, but you can never know which field they are going to assign. Most people choose to bring their own chairs and drinks, many make an entire picnic out of it. Some just sit on the hood of their cars and watch the games and time go by...

Of course, all the children get to play, regardless of their skills.

Thanks to all those people that volunteer and make these games available to our kids.
